Not because they “aren’t cut out for it.”

So today, I’m going to hit you with some brutally honest business advice that I wish someone had told me earlier.

These are the 9 biggest lessons that separate the people who make six figures in network marketing from the ones who keep spinning their wheels (and never make a dime).

1. Spend More Time Picking Your Partners (Because the Wrong Ones Will Ruin You)

The biggest mistake new network marketers make?

❌ They recruit anyone and everyone.

Look, I get it. You’re excited. You want to grow your team FAST.

But if you build a team of the wrong people, it will become a nightmare.

📌 You want people who are coachable.
📌 You want people who are driven.
📌 You want people who will actually DO THE WORK.

Recruiting lazy, negative, or unmotivated people is like strapping a 50-pound weight to your back and trying to run a marathon.

🚀 ACTION STEP: Only work with people you’d want as a business partner for the next 10 years. If they wouldn’t be a fit for your inner circle, they aren’t a fit for your team.

2. Learn Personal Finance (Or You’ll Stay Broke Forever)

Most network marketers have zero clue where their money is going.

They make money, but they also spend it as fast as it comes in.

Then, when they hit a slow month, they panic because they never built a financial cushion.

💡 You NEED to track your money.

📌 How much are you actually profiting?
📌 Are you reinvesting into growth, or wasting money on dumb stuff?
📌 Do you have 3–6 months of expenses saved?

If you don’t have a clear picture of your finances, you’re flying blind.

🚀 ACTION STEP: Start tracking your income and expenses TODAY. Even a simple Google Sheet is enough. Money flows to those who respect it.

3. Work-Life Balance Is Stupid (At Least in the Beginning)

I know, I know…

“You have to have work-life balance!”

Listen… that’s great advice for someone who’s already successful.

But if you’re in the BUILDING phase, you NEED to go all in.

When I was growing my business, I was up at 3 AM taking calls with people across the world.
I was grinding while everyone else was watching Netflix.
I wasn’t “hoping” for success—I was creating it through sheer intensity.

🚀 ACTION STEP: Go ALL IN for the next 90 days. Give this everything you’ve got. Once you have momentum, you can ease up. But if you take it easy too soon, you’ll never make it.

4. Let Your Hate, Motivate

🔥 You know what’s great fuel? Proving people wrong.

I got fired from Facebook, and I was PISSED.
So I built a business that made me 10X more than that job ever would have.

Whatever it is for you—
💡 Someone who doubted you.
💡 Someone who laughed at your goals.
💡 Someone who told you “that stuff doesn’t work.”

Use it as FUEL.

🚀 ACTION STEP: Write down the name of someone who doubted you. Keep it somewhere you’ll see it daily. Then go out and make so much money that they’ll regret ever saying a word.

5. Follow Your Curiosity, Not the Crowd

I see it all the time…

Someone jumps into network marketing because it’s “hot” right now—but they have ZERO passion for the products.

Guess what? They quit in 6 months.

You need to LOVE what you’re selling. You need to actually believe in it.

Because if you’re not excited about what you’re doing, how the hell are you going to sell it to someone else?

🚀 ACTION STEP: Pick a product and company that actually aligns with your lifestyle and what you care about. Passion sells.

6. Build Relationships, Not Just Sales

💡 The best network marketers aren’t just salespeople…

They are relationship builders.

People don’t buy from strangers—they buy from people they trust.

📌 Instead of cold-pitching people, build real relationships.
📌 Give value before you ask for anything.
📌 Focus on building a community of people who LIKE you and trust you.

The more you GIVE, the more sales will flow naturally.

🚀 ACTION STEP: Message 5 people today and just start a conversation—without pitching them. Play the long game.

7. Make Your First $1 (Because That’s All That Matters at the Start)

Most people get so caught up in planning that they never actually make money.

The first time I made $12 from my network marketing business, I was hooked.

It proved that people would actually PAY me for something.

Your first $1 changes EVERYTHING. It gives you confidence. It proves this works.

🚀 ACTION STEP: Stop overthinking. Just get ONE sale. One recruit. One customer. Once you do it once, you can do it 100 times.

8. Stick With What Works (And Stop Chasing the Next Thing)

📌 I’ve seen people making $10K/month in network marketing QUIT because they got distracted by a new “shiny object.”

📌 I’ve seen people get tired of their business right before it exploded.

Most people quit too soon.

Once you find something that WORKS, keep doubling down on it.

🚀 ACTION STEP: If something is already making you money, put more focus there instead of chasing the next thing. Double down on what’s working.

9. Take More Swings (Because Every Failure Brings You Closer to a Win)
