Before you even post a single piece of content, you need to define your ICP.

👉 ICP = Ideal Client Profile.

Think of it like being a sniper.

A sniper carefully aims at a single, high-value target.
A shotgun sprays bullets everywhere, hoping something hits.

Most people use the shotgun approach.

They post:
❌ Random content on Instagram.
❌ Try to go viral with “trendy” videos.
❌ Get stuck with unqualified leads that waste their time.

Instead, I switched to The Sniper Method:

✅ I got ultra-specific on WHO I wanted to attract.
✅ I created content that ONLY spoke to them.
✅ I ignored trends that didn’t serve my goal.

💡 Example:

Let’s say you’re in network marketing and your ideal client is a 9-to-5 employee who wants to build passive income.

Instead of random motivational quotes or generic business advice, your content should directly speak to their pain points:

📌 Pain: “I feel stuck in my 9-to-5 and want a way out.”
📌 Desire: “I want to make money online without quitting my job (yet).”

Now, your Instagram posts & reels solve these specific problems, making your audience think…

“Wow, this person gets me.”

Step 2: Strategic Keywords & Content – Think Like Your Ideal Client 🧠

Now that you know who you’re targeting, let’s make sure your content is exactly what they’re searching for.

🔎 What’s Your Ideal Client Searching for on Instagram?

👉 Use tools like Instagram search bar & Google Trends to find phrases your ICP is searching for—then build content around it.

💡 Example: Let’s say your Ideal Client Profile (ICP) is a corporate employee who wants to start an online business.

Ask yourself:
✔️ What are they struggling with?
✔️ What questions are they asking?

Here’s how you can approach it:

1️⃣ Identify Pain Points & Desires
📌 Pain: “I don’t know how to start an online business while working full-time.”
📌 Desire: “I want to create passive income without spending 10 hours a day.”

Now, instead of posting random Instagram Reels, you strategically create posts that speak DIRECTLY to these problems.

✅ Instagram Post Idea: “How to Build a Passive Income Stream in Just 1 Hour a Day (Even with a 9-to-5).”

✅ Reel Hook: “Working full-time and still want to make money online? Here’s how I did it…”

✅ Carousel Post: “The 3-Step System to Replace Your Salary with an Online Business.”

When you speak your audience’s language, you attract higher-quality leads who are ready to buy.

Step 3: Add Qualification Questions to Filter Out Time-Wasters 🔥

Here’s the BIGGEST mistake I see people make on Instagram…

They attract a ton of leads but don’t filter them properly.
