So today, I’m breaking down how to build a thriving, scalable business as an introvert—without burning out, forcing yourself to network 24/7, or pretending to be an extrovert.

1. You Don’t Need to Be Extroverted to Succeed

The internet has leveled the playing field.

You don’t need to be an extrovert to build wealth. You just need to leverage your strengths differently.

For example:

✅ Take a Day Off – I take Saturdays off to unplug, recharge, and spend time with family. No emails. No Slack. No social media.

✅ Create Personal Rules – Dharmesh Shah (founder of HubSpot) calls himself “phone phobic.” Me? I use “personal rules” to avoid energy-draining tasks.

For example:

❌ “I don’t do weekly Zoom calls with clients.”
✅ “But I’ll send a detailed report and we can chat async.”

Set boundaries. Communicate them. Stick to them.

4. Build Relationships With Other Introverts

There’s a myth in entrepreneurship that people build success alone.

That’s complete BS.

No one is self-made. Everyone is network-made.

But here’s the thing: You don’t have to network like an extrovert.

Instead of trying to “work the room” at every event…

📌 Be selective with who you connect with.
📌 Build deep, meaningful relationships (not shallow ones).
📌 Use “filters” to manage your communication.

For example, my communication hierarchy looks like this:

📌 Call before you Zoom.
📌 Zoom before you meet in person.

And most importantly:

💡 Just because someone asks for your time doesn’t mean they’re entitled to it.

If a conversation doesn’t move you forward, cut it out.

5. Use Guerrilla Marketing to Attract Leads (So You Never Have to Chase)

The biggest mistake introverts make?

They think they have to prospect the way extroverts do.

Wrong.
