Confession time…
For the last 12 months, I’ve felt completely uninspired about creating content for business.
I GOT BORED OF MY OWN CONTENT.
How many times can I tell you to promote your work?
How many times can I say you need a sales page?
How many times can I say entrepreneurs need to learn how to sell?
I mean… I’ve been saying it for years. And I hit a point where I’d rather throw myself under a bus than say it one more time.
So, I stopped creating content.
I stopped making videos.
I stopped writing blog posts.
Instead, I started sharing random thoughts—coffee shop stories, life observations, the little things that make up the daily life of an entrepreneur.
Some of you loved it. (Like my coffee shop rants.)
Some of you hated it. (Like my post about parents giving their kids iPads at restaurants.)
But all of it taught me one big lesson…
Business Isn’t Just Business. It’s Life.
See, for years, I treated success like a paint-by-numbers process:
📌 Want more sales? Sell more.
📌 Want more leads? Build a funnel.
📌 Want more freedom? Work harder.
And sure, that works—on paper.
But here’s the truth…
Business isn’t just business. It’s life.
And life is messy.
We deal with:
👉 Doubt – “Am I really cut out for this?”
👉 Fear – “What if I put myself out there and fail?”
👉 Overwhelm – “There’s so much to do… where do I even start?”
We don’t talk about that part enough.
We think success is all about tactics, but it’s not.
Success comes from who you become while building your business.
